Zachary Hayes

To Zachary Hayes, there is nothing more satisfying than knocking on a few thousand doors during an election cycle. So far, he’s done that for multiple campaigns in Nevada, California, Georgia, and Virginia.

Born and raised in Chicago, Zachary was politically aware from a young age, attending town hall meetings with his parents and serving as an election judge during the 2012 presidential election. For college, he headed west to Loyola Marymount University, where he majored in political science, minored in history and Spanish, and was elected president of the LMU College Republicans. Zach earned his master’s degree in public policy at Pepperdine University, served as an editor of the Pepperdine Policy Review, and graduated as valedictorian. As part of the Pepperdine program, he interned in the Research and Communications department at the RNC.

Zachary worked as a field organizer in Las Vegas during the 2020 Trump re-election campaign, then as campaign manager for a congressional candidate in Nevada’s CD-03 during the 2022 primaries. As regional field director for the Nevada GOP leading up to the 2022 general election, he recruited volunteers and mobilized the GOTV effort for multiple races. He believes that electing conservative candidates to office is the key to a better future for all Americans.

Upon joining Axiom Strategies, Zachary worked with The Political Firm, a satellite company, on races in Louisiana during the 2023 election cycle. He helped to prepare candidates’ direct mail, texting, digital, and door-knocking materials and deliver them in a timely fashion, playing a critical role in winning 18 of the 29 races The Political Firm handled.

In 2024, Zachary moved to AxAdvocacy, providing many of the same services for candidates and political groups in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas, as well as overseeing key advocacy projects for the Humane Society of the United States and several other organizations. AxAdvocacy won 33 of the 38 general election races it worked in the 2024 election.

In his spare time, Zachary enjoys keeping tabs on elections throughout the country, taking a hike in the Nevada desert, rooting for the Yankees and Bears, and hunting for the best budget prime rib on the Vegas Strip.
