Sarah Williams is a political advocacy strategist, currently serving as Senior Director of Public Affairs at AxAdvocacy. She previously led advocacy efforts at the Federation of American Hospitals, managing FedPAC and national grassroots engagement campaigns to amplify the voice of tax-paying hospitals.
Before that, Sarah led the Voter Education Program at the American Bankers Association, driving fundraising and execution for a multimillion-dollar issue advocacy initiative. Her experience includes political consulting, grassroots mobilization, and policy research, with roles at DDC Public Affairs, Firehouse Strategies, the Heritage Foundation, the RNC, and Capitol Hill.
She got her start in Washington as an intern for the late Senator John McCain, researching healthcare and trade policy. She later gained experience across the pond, interning for Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP, where she contributed to grassroots mobilization during the Brexit campaign.
A proud native of Washington, CT, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from The Catholic University of America and Master of Professional Studies in Political Management from George Washington University. Outside of work, she’s training for her next marathon, reading a good book, or cheering for the McLaren Formula One Team. She lives in Arlington with her fiancé, Justin, and their two miniature dachshunds, Toby and CJ.
