His diverse portfolio encompasses targeted U.S. Senate and congressional races, overseeing a state party, and contributing to campaigns across more than thirty states across the country.


Sam has served on a number of presidential campaigns, notably serving as Senator Ted Cruz’s Regional Political Director in 2016 and as Ron DeSantis’ National Political Director in 2024. His leadership in these roles helped shape campaign strategies that resonated with voters and effectively communicated key messages.


In addition to his political endeavors, Sam possesses extensive corporate experience, offering strategic guidance to Fortune 500 companies, as well as prominent organizations in the NFL, MLB, and various professional sports leagues. His expertise in navigating complex communication challenges and executing public affairs campaigns has earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor in the corporate sector.


Previously, Sam served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Senator Ted Cruz, where he provided strategic counsel and communications expertise. His work was instrumental in helping the Senator navigate complex political landscapes and achieve significant policy victories.



Currently, Sam serves as a Senior Political Advisor to Senator Cruz, where he offers day-to-day counsel and strategic direction. His leadership has been crucial in guiding the Senator's 2024 re-election campaign, which achieved a historic 9-point victory.
