Melyssa Perez is a Director at AxAdvocacy, where she assists clients with crisis management, strategic planning, and communications with special skills in social media and branding in a wide variety of industries such as energy, airlines, transportation, entertainment, sports, and telecommunications.
Prior to her work at AxAdvocacy, Melyssa worked as a legal assistant for a Texas and California based civil litigation firm assisting on a variety of large-scale lawsuits ranging from agriculture to medical malpractice. Melyssa also served on U.S. Senator Ted Cruz’ successful re-election campaign in 2018, where she helped to organize and manage several large events and rallies, ranging from televised charity events to the final election night celebration, where she worked directly with grassroots, local elected officials, and voters from across the state.
Melyssa attended the University of Texas at Austin after acknowledging a passion for policy and law when she began to debate morality and ethics in politics. Melyssa grew up just south of Houston in Friendswood, Texas, and currently resides in Houston.
