Chris Pack

Chris Pack is the Founder and Managing Partner of Breakwall Group, a public affairs and political consulting firm with a diverse roster consisting of corporate and political clients. He has nearly 20 years of experience shaping reputations and brands, specializing in strategy and planning, message development, and team building.

Chris is a tough, results-oriented strategist who has spent his entire career helping clients and causes win when stakes are the highest. Prior to starting Breakwall Group, Chris served as Communications Director for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), where he shaped national and individual messaging strategies for the committee’s targeted races during a historically successful election cycle.

Using research to frame the election as “freedom vs. socialism,” Chris helped Republicans net 15 seats amidst unprecedented political and social volatility. Prominent Democrats and national media acknowledged the effectiveness of his messaging. One Democratic representative remarked to her colleagues, “Don’t say socialism ever again,” and “if we run this race again we will get f—–g torn apart again [at the polls].”

Prior to the NRCC, Chris was Communications Director during the 2018 cycle for outside groups aligned with U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, including Senate Leadership Fund and American Crossroads. Chris helped expand the GOP majority by flipping Senate seats in Florida, Missouri, Indiana and North Dakota.

Chris was also at the NRCC during the 2016 cycle as a Regional Press Secretary where he helped protect the largest Republican majority since the Great Depression. He was responsible for a 25-state region in the Eastern U.S., including top-25 media markets in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia/Washington, D.C. and Wisconsin.

Earlier in his career, Chris advised and led political messaging for Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett, served on Capitol Hill as a spokesman for U.S. Representatives Rick Berg (R-ND) and Ed Whitfield (R-KY), and advised state representatives in both houses of the New York state legislature.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on his hometown Buffalo Bills and reading historical nonfiction. He also competes in endurance events to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease, recently cycling 452 miles over five days from the Lake Erie waterfront in Buffalo to One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan.
